Country View Lane is a special area within Camilia Rose specifically designed to care for those with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of memory loss. State-of-the-art programming, consistent staffing, and a calming, home-like atmosphere create a comfortable environment to care for people with these special needs.
OUR TRAINING
Camilia Rose understands and supports the need for providing educational opportunities for our staff members that directly relates to the care of our clients.
There are numerous educational sessions offered monthly, including our Alzheimer's/dementia training in which all staff particpate annually, regardless of their discipline.
Our Alzheimer's/dementia training includes, but is not limited to:
An explanation of Alzheimer's and related disorders
Assistance with daily living skills
Problem solving with challenging behaviors
Communication skills
This training is completed in a classroom setting using a variety of learning experiences, including verbal instruction, hands-on experience, visual aids, interactive discussion, question-and-answer, and online through Care2Learn.
Staff members who provide direct care to persons with Alzheimer's/dementia are expected to utilize and apply the classroom information and techniques learned during their initial training and beyond as they provide quality care to our Camilia Rose clients.
